What services are included in summer (May to October) at the Panoramagasthof Kristberg? In summer, Your stay includes, among other things, a complimentary parking permit, the use of the Kristberg road, and the sauna oasis. For stays of 7 nights or more, You can add the Montafon Brandnertal Leisure WildPass for all Your holiday days with us for a small co-payment of € 35.00 (per person). Complimentary mountain bike and trekking pole hire, the Active Panorama Map, and the BergePLUS programme are also included in Your stay.

Winter Inclusions

What winter services (December to April) are included in the stay? In winter, Your stay includes, among other things, the ascent and descent for Your arrival and departure with the Kristbergbahn cable car. Furthermore, complimentary hire of cross-country skiing equipment, snowshoes, and toboggans is provided, alongside access to the sauna oasis, personalised tour advice, snow reports, and much more.

What is the BergePLUS programme? The BergePLUS programme comprises guided hikes, bike tours, family activities, and further experiences in the Montafon – exclusively for guests of partner establishments.

Is there complimentary Wi-Fi at the Panoramagasthof Kristberg? Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi with speeds of up to 1000 Mbps is available throughout the entire property.

When does the 'Family-Friendly Montafon' promotion take place? The promotion runs from 28 March to 12 April 2026 and offers special benefits for families with children.

Accessibility & Arrival

Is the road to the Kristberg accessible in summer? Yes, from May to October, guests receive an authorisation permit to use the toll-based cooperative road leading from the Silbertal valley up to the Kristberg.

Is the Kristberg area accessible by car in winter? No, the area is car-free in winter. Arrival and departure are via the Montafoner Kristbergbahn cable car – this journey is included in Your stay.

How does the luggage transport work upon my arrival? Your holiday begins completely relaxed at the valley station of the Montafoner Kristbergbahn cable car. You simply load Your luggage into the designated transport trolleys. We will ensure that Your luggage is safely transported to the mountain station and directly to Your room. In winter, this service is fully included in Your inbound and outbound travel during the standard operating hours of the cable car.

Wellness & Equipment

Is there a sauna at the Panoramagasthof Kristberg? Yes, our small but exquisite sauna oasis is open daily from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, featuring a Finnish sauna, an aroma steam bath, and an infrared cabin.

What equipment can be hired in winter? In winter, cross-country skiing equipment, snowshoes, gaiters, telescopic poles, and toboggans with children's backrests are available for complimentary hire.

Is personalised tour advice provided? Yes, guests receive tailored tour advice as well as an Active Panorama Map outlining hiking, biking, and winter sports opportunities across the entire Montafon region.

Culinary & Sustainability

Does the restaurant also offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options? Yes, as a certified "Genusswirt" (culinary heritage host), our pampering team adapts flexibly to Your dietary requirements. We offer delicious vegetarian alternatives daily. Please simply let us know before Your arrival if You suffer from any intolerances (such as gluten or lactose intolerance) or if You follow a vegan diet – our kitchen will gladly prepare suitable, regional creations for You.

Is the sustainable use of resources noticeable in the room rate? Absolutely. With Your stay, You actively support climate protection. Your room is supplied with 100% clean green electricity and energy from our own photovoltaic system. Furthermore, we deliberately avoid single-use plastic packaging for the toiletries in the bathroom, without You having to compromise on comfort.
