Yes, there’s free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and restaurant, with download speeds of 1000 Mbit and upload speeds of 400 Mbit.

When can I check into my ‘Ruheoase’ or the ‘Kristberghüsli’, and by what time should I check out on the day of departure?
You can check into your ‘Oases of Tranquillity’ (rooms) and the popular Kristberghüsli from 3.00 pm at the latest on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your accommodation (Oasis of Tranquillity) by 11.00 am at the latest. This gives our hospitality team plenty of time to lovingly prepare everything for the next guests. If you arrive earlier or would like to extend your stay a little on the day of departure, simply get in touch with us. We’d be happy to look after your luggage so that you can enjoy the unique natural surroundings and tranquillity of the Kristberg in the Silbertal – the ‘connoisseur’s mountain’ in the Montafon – for a little longer.

When are breakfast and dinner served?
We serve our Montafon mountain breakfast daily from 7.30 am to 10.00 am. Are you planning a long hike, a mountain tour or a special outing and would like to have breakfast earlier? We’d be delighted to accommodate you! Simply let our catering team know the evening before so that we can lovingly prepare everything for you.

We serve our multi-course evening gourmet menu between 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm. This allows you to round off your day’s holiday in a relaxed manner and enjoy regional delicacies in a cosy atmosphere.

Should you ever return later than expected, we’d appreciate a quick heads-up. Together, we’ll be happy to find a suitable solution.

Is there a quiet hour at the Panoramagasthof Kristberg?
Yes. To ensure that all our Kristberg guests (temporary residents) can enjoy the special tranquillity of Kristberg to the full, our quiet hour begins at 11.30 pm. We ask that, from this time onwards, you keep noise levels to a minimum and show consideration for others. This will ensure that all guests (temporary residents) can enjoy a restful night’s sleep and start the next day of their holiday feeling refreshed. Thank you very much for your understanding and for helping to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for everyone – it’s what makes Kristberg so special.

What happens if I have to cancel my holiday at Kristberg?
Sometimes life doesn’t go to plan. Should you ever need to cancel your holiday at Kristberg, the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH) will apply.

An overview of the cancellation policy:

• You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 3 months before arrival.
• Up to 1 month before arrival, the cancellation fee is 40% of the total package price.
• Up to 1 week before arrival, 70% of the package price will be charged.
• In the final week before arrival, the cancellation fee is 90% of the total package price.

Some good news: if we are able to re-let your booked ‘oasis of tranquillity’ to other Kristberg enthusiasts (temporary residents) during the same period, you will of course not incur any cancellation charges.

To ensure you can enjoy the anticipation of your holiday with complete peace of mind, we recommend taking out travel insurance, for example with Europäische Reiseversicherung. This way, you’ll be fully covered in the event of illness or other unforeseen circumstances and can plan your break at Kristberg with confidence.

When Does the "Family-Friendly Montafon" Promotion Take Place?
The Family-Friendly Montafon promotion runs from 20 March to 11 April 2027, offering a range of special benefits for families with children.

Can I Drive to the Kristberg During Summer?
Yes. From May to October, all Kristberg guests staying at the hotel receive a permit allowing them to use the private toll road from Silbertal to the Kristberg.

Can I Reach the Kristberg by Car During Winter?
No. Throughout the winter season, the entire Kristberg area is completely car-free.

Arrival and departure are exclusively via the Montafoner Kristbergbahn, with your cable car journey included in your stay.

During the cable car's operating hours, we are also happy to transport your luggage between the mountain station and the hotel.

Does the Panoramagasthof Kristberg Have a Sauna?
Yes. Our cosy Kristberg Sauna Oasis is open daily from 2:30 pm until 6:30 pm and includes:

• an aromatic steam room

How Does Arrival Work During Winter?
Your holiday begins in a wonderfully relaxed way at the valley station of the Montafoner Kristbergbahn.

Simply place your luggage in the dedicated transport trolleys provided.

We'll take care of transporting it safely to the mountain station and then directly to your room.

During winter, this luggage transfer service is fully included with your arrival and departure while the cable car is operating.

Can I Bring My Dog on Holiday?
Yes – well-behaved dogs are warmly welcome. Dogs are welcome on request in selected guest rooms as well as in our restaurant. Your four-legged companion is also welcome to travel on the Montafoner Kristbergbahn. Please note that Austrian regulations require dogs to be kept on a lead and wear a muzzle when travelling on the cable car and within the surrounding hiking and ski areas.
