Around the center of Silbertal
Discover Silbertal! Past farms, romatically lit houses, the
Silbertal Enzian distillery (Enzianhof, Zudrell family), our mining
museum (in the Gemeinde-Verkehrsamt building! Open Wednesday and Friday 4 p.m. to
6 p.m.) to the "Sennhüsli" (Netzer family - fresh milk for
sale).
Come in. You are very welcome.
(Distance: 4km, about 1 hour)
The Kristberg "Panoramaweg"
From the top of the Kristberg cable car, along the Panorama
cross-country skiing route, you reach the "Wildes Ried".
In summer this is a large, "wild marsh". In winter it's a huge white plain on
which cross-country skiiers can do laps. The hiker can rest here and enjoy the peace and
tranquility of the unique flora and fauna.
Same route back.
(Distance: 11km, about 3 hours)
From the mountain to the valley or the other way
around
You can comfortably walk into the valley from Kristberg down the
winding mountain road (almost no cars!) or from the valley upwards. The breathtaking view
reveals the mountain ranges of Rätikon and Verwall as well as the towns of Silbertal,
Innerberg, Bartholomäberg, Schruns and Tschgguns.
(Distance: 6km one way, about 1 -2
hours)
Kristberg - Innerberg or Innerberg - Kristberg
Enjoy this leisurely winter stroll. Whether you walk from
Kristberg to the Mühle Inn in Innerberg or the other way around, the short distance
(about 3km) and the fairy-tale surroundings make this route an absolute pleasure. You can
take the Postbus (to Schruns) from the Mühle Inn or walk to Silbertal or
Schruns.
(Distance: 3km, about ¾ of an hour)
